The Pen series is a family of half-frame cameras made by Olympus from 1959 to the beginning of the 1980s. The smaller frame format allowed for very compact camera design, yet using regular 35mm film that can be bought anywhere. With a half-frame camera, you take twice the number of pictures that you would normally take with your roll of film. For example, you take 72 exposures on a 36-exposure roll, 48 on a 24-exposure one, and so on.

This particular camera was made in 1973 – it is a model targeted at amateur photographers, with fully automatic exposure and fixed focusing. It is a true point and shoot camera, and has a 28mm f/3.5 lens.

This is of course a vintage item, and as such it will have some signs of use/wear. However we only sell cameras that are in good condition, and would happily use. Please check the pictures carefully for the physical condition of the camera.

*This camera has a small crack in the selenium photosensitive cell at the front, but this does not affect the function of the light meter.*
