The Brownie Flash (also known as the Hawkeye) is a Bakelite camera taking 6x6cm images on 620 film, made in the USA and France by Kodak, between c.1949-1961. This particular model is French, and features an oversized brilliant waist-level viewfinder. The usually black casing has been re-painted in blue to give it a retro look. Please note that the painting has not been professionally done, and is not clear-coated – please check the pictures. The shutter works fine and the optics are lovely and clear – this would make a fab working camera or lovely display piece!
